Job Responsibilities:
The data quality analyst is going to:
1. Conduct periodic data validation and data integrity checks.
2. Prepare summary reports covering data quality issues by status, cause and priority.
3. Ensure applying predefined validation rules to increase data quality assurance.
4. Perform analysis through inspecting data and processes to identify the source cause of data issues.
5. Involve in gathering the feedback related to data quality issues from other departments within the company and from external parties.
6. Assist in defining business data requirements by understanding how other departments use and manipulate the data.
7. Undertake the role of documenting and filing of the department’s process and procedures.
8. Prepare reports related to the section's functions when requested by his manager.
9. Undertake any other assignment related to his functions according to his manager’s instructions.
Qualifications and Skills:
The data quality analyst should:
1. Have a bachelor’s degree in MIS, Quality Assurance, or Data Mining (preferably supported with a minor degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting).
2. Have good knowledge related to statistics and data quality analysis.
3. Have strong technical skills necessary to work with data manipulation tools such as Microsoft Excel and Access.
4. Able to acquire knowledge related to new data quality techniques and technologies.
5. Demonstrate organizational and planning skills.
6. Able to work independently as well as within teams.
7. Be detail-oriented and have excellent problem solving skills.

2. Analyzes financial transactions for proper financial reporting, compliance with policies, adequacy of internal controls, and operational effectiveness.
3. Prepares comprehensive working papers that are consistent with generally accepted Auditing standards, accounting principles, and internal departmental standards.
4. Recommends improvements designed to safeguard company resources and ensure compliance with government laws and regulation.
5. Follows up on the audits recommendations to ensure a proper and timely implementation.
6. Follows up on external IT audits to ensure compliance with security policy.
7. Performs operational risk and controls assessments.
Professional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor in Accounting, in addition to a professional certificate in auditing (CIA, CISA) or a CPA certificate.
Expertise in internal auditing procedures and international accounting standards.
