U.S. economy adds new functionality

United States, (America that wears) - Despite the weakness of investment in building and construction sector, but the U.S. economy has added new jobs in the private sector over the past 25 months, respectively, that were provided a total of 4.1 million jobs during that period , said the President's Council on White House economist Alan Krueger.
Kruger said that manufacturing is still a glimmer of hope is shining; it added 37 thousand jobs last month. At the same time, the rate of unemployment in the United States in the month of March / March to reach a bit to 8.2 percent after reaching 8.3 percent in the previous month, according to statistics released by the U.S. Department of Labor on 6 April / May.
He wrote Kruger in the White House blog, explaining that "after the loss of millions of good jobs in the manufacturing sector during the recession in the years that preceded it, the economy has added 466 A function in the manufacturing sector in the months to 25 years - This is the strongest rate of growth witnessed in any period of 25 months since the September / September 1995. In order to continue the revitalization of manufacturing jobs and production, the President proposed granting tax incentives to manufacturers, and strengthen the training of the workforce, and take action to create centers of manufacturing. "
According to the statistics of the Ministry of Labor, the unemployment rate fell to almost a full percentage point since August / August 2011.
President Obama has addressed the forum the White House for women and the economy on 6 April / April and said there was no single issue more important in the United States to restore the economic security of American families in the wake of the greatest economic crisis the country has witnessed since the Great Depression in the thirties of the last century. Obama said that while it is being addressed to the challenges of job creation and job creation in the U.S. economy, it is also important to address the challenges that are often unique for the economic security of women.

Obama said "It starts with making sure that everyone who wants to get a job he can get. We therefore welcome the good news that we received today, which reports that U.S. companies have created 121 thousand jobs in the other last month, and the unemployment rate has fallen. We have developed our economy, now more than 4 million jobs in the private sector over the past two years, and more than 600 thousand in the past three months alone. "

But Obama warned that there will be points of the rise and fall and extending and islands in the American economy at the time when the economic recovery is gaining momentum. He added that the sum of the 121 thousand jobs added to the U.S. economy in March / March was less than the total jobs that are added each month during the previous three months, which amounted to more than 200 thousand jobs in the Mediterranean.

Kruger said that the questionnaires and the Ministry of Labor for Employment and unemployment rates indicate that there are still challenges facing workers in the construction sector as a result of winning the collapse in residential construction in the wake of the housing market bubble burst in early 2008. It is noteworthy that the rate of unemployment for the workers building and construction sector with a 17.2 per cent, more than double the national average.
The Kruger that due to weak demand from the private sector to invest in the construction and the continued need for the country to improve infrastructure, including maintenance of highways, bridges and ports existing, the proposed budget for fiscal year 2013 and proposed by the President to increase and modernize the infrastructure in the country aimed at supporting the economy in the present time in the future.

Included in other sectors that have received an increase in jobs in the month of March / March sectors of leisure and hospitality, which added a 39 thousand jobs and sectors, professional and business services, up 31 thousand new jobs, the sector of financial activities, an increase of 15 thousand jobs.

Krueger pointed out that the retail sector was 33.800 jobs, and lost the building and construction sector 7 thousand jobs, the government also lost 1,000 jobs in March / March Kruger said that about three-quarters of slowing growth rate of employment in the March / March compared with February was due to slower growth in temporary jobs and health care services and child care.

In the same context, said Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke on 26 March / March at the annual conference of the National Assembly of the economies of Business in Washington that create jobs in the United States has improved in recent months. Has increased wage employment in the private sector increased by nearly 250 thousand jobs a month, on average, in the three months ended last February, and by about 190 thousand jobs a month over the past 12 months.

At the same time, the rate of layoffs in the public sector is moving towards moderation, and given that along with the increase in average weekly working hours, these gains career contributed to the significant increase in the total hours of work, as explained Bernanke to economists at the conference.

Bernanke said "The increase in the number of working hours is encouraging, because the reduction in working hours during the last recession was unusual." And move Bernanke says he is the beginning of the peak of the economic events in the December / December 2007 and down to their lowest levels in February / February 2010, the total working hours for production workers decreased significantly by 9.5 percent. In comparison, decreased work hours for production workers increased by 5.75 percent during the recession in the 1981 to 1982.

Bernanke said, but even with the improvement in the image of employment and jobs in the United States, the increase in economic growth is essential.

Bernanke said "The recent improvements are encouraging, but, as I pointed out, and in absolute terms, the labor market is still far from normal, millions of families continue to suffer daily hardships associated with the inability to find suitable work. In spite of the most frustrating periods of unemployment and physically disabled or expensive, but the continued high rate of unemployment in the long term and we have seen over the past three years or so raises particular concerns.
